| BDS MEMBERSHIP The annual subscription includes membership of the National Society, which represents carriage driving enthusiasts' views at Government level. Members receive a comprehensive yearbook, quarterly newsletters featuring news, activities and fixtures for your area, also items for sale, information on teaching seminars, fun drives and showing. BDS Membership also includes LEGAL LIABILITY INSURANCE provided by the society's recommended insurers, the NFU Mutual. You will receive a badge and membership card together with a catalogue of our current publications on receipt of your first subscription. SUBSCRIPTION RATES:
SUBSCRIPTIONS AND RENEWALS All subscriptions are renewable annually on 1st January. All new members joining from 1st September get the remainder of the year and all of the following year for their first subscription. Please click here to print out the membership application form. Fill in the application and post it, with your payment, to the address shown on the form. BDS ANNUAL YEARBOOK Published in March and sent free of charge to all members, the Yearbook contains a comprehensive almanac of shows, indicating the type of driving classes held and details of qualifiers for national competitions including rules and conditions. It includes details of Council, Committees, and officials both national and local, details of driving clubs, useful and informative articles, advertisements relating to carriage driving and many photographs. The Yearbook contains colourful professional photographs with results and reports of the Society's shows and major championships. QUARTERLY NEWSLETTERS Printed and circulated in early February, May, August, and November, the newsletter keeps members up to date with current news, results and forthcoming activities, both national and local. Area Commissioners publish area reports and details of their fixtures under their individual county headings.
