Rain, Rain go away… it was to much to hope for a third event in a row to have nice weather. Sadly it poured on Sunday but that didn’t dampen our spirits.

It was great to see Turriff so well supported this year after the disappointing numbers of last year. The show was not going to hold the driving this year due to the lack of entries last year, so it was great to see it well supported this year. So a BIG well done to all those who supported the event and hopefully we will see you all again next year to what is a fantastic event, plenty of trade stands, great ring entertainment and a great arena to show driving to the public.

The judge on the day was Maureen Hogg and she found her winner in last years winner and champion Barry Cork’s lovely welsh pony Maesgwyn Hilltopper .

This was the second year that Turriff has held the ever-popular exercise class and it was great to see it so well supported and great to see some junior whips in the class as well. Following her success at Black Isle Helen hunt and her Gelderlander Nelson were first in the exercise class it is great to see HDT competitors giving the show ring a try.
